One of the most important tips in caring for your jewelry piece is remembering that
it should be the last thing you put on (after you've finished getting dressed)
and the first thing you take off (when you're ready to unwind.)
Jewelry Tips:
Try not to expose your piece to moisture (i.e. steam rooms, pools, shower, dishes).
Remove before excercising to avoid dirt building up.
Remove before falling asleep to avoid snagging on fabric.
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, or cleaning agents.
Store in a closed bag or jewelry box.
To clean your jewelry piece:
Lightly soak your piece in a bowl of warm water with a small amount of dish soap.
Submerge the jewelry piece in the water whilst using a soft toothbrush to lightly brush off any dirt or residue.
Rinse the jewelry piece under warm running water (make sure to leave the bowl under in case you drop it.)
Use a soft cloth to dry your jewelry piece.
(Optional) Use a polishing cloth to bring out a shine!
To clean a chain:
Soak the chain in warm soapy water.
Very delicately, place the chain to it's full length on a soft cloth.
Soak a soft toothbrush in warm soapy water.
Very carefully, hold down one side of the chain with light pressure and use the soaked toothbrush to lightly brush the chain in a downward motion, gradually inching to the end of the clasp.
Once you've reached the end, soak the chain in soapy water again.
Repeat other side, or as many times as desired.
Dry with a soft cloth.
(Optional) Use a polishing cloth to bring out its shine.! Hold the chain with one hand up in the air. Use the polishing cloth to lightly pinch the chain (on both sides) and then pull it down to the bottom whilst mainting the pinch.
